Great piece Nick. The question I have is what exactly should be the role of the United States in all of this. Obviously, the United States recognizes the State of Israel and has done so for the last 75 years yet I hear increasingly that the United States is morally obligated to go to war with Iran on behalf of the state of Israel for example. I don't see myyself how that is at all a sensible policy
