Still doesn’t really explain all the Obama to Trump counties across the rust belt, with 20+ point swings to Trump in 2016. Maybe the mystery of the guy in Elyria is that he didn’t really vote for Obama in 2012, but those huge number of O to T county swings are still pretty remarkable.
