This week, we visit two more states, both Democratic-leaning but with interesting dynamics that give Republicans some hope. First, New Mexico, the second closest state in 2000, was overshadowed by the Florida recount and a state that has flirted with Republicans before. Donald Trump hoped to make it competitive this year, but Joe Biden’s exit from the race has made that hopeless.
The other state is my home state of New York. A Democratic bastion, New York has had some exciting trends in recent years. We’ll check those out.
